Pl take a look at the pics., They propose universe's shape. Kind of cylindrical. It matches with the shape of our Siva Lingam!!
A Siva Lingam represents the Samaadhi of a Jnaani (not all Lingams are Samaadhis). A Jnaani is one who has merged with The Universe / Mother Nature / The God.
Our ancestors realized this grand truth eons ago and used the shape to mark the places (of Samaadhi) as well as to convey the truth to the future generations!!
There are other theories about the universe (flat, sphere, etc.). But, I am not buying them as I trust our ancestors more than the Parangi scientists/theories. The reason I wrote this post using 2 Parangi pics is to nail the truth that OUR ANCESTORS WERE THE BEST & PERFECT IN ALL THE FIELDS to the ???? heads of the present pathetic population who need corroboration from Parangi world!! 😡
