Martyr's Day - March 23

March 23 - the day #Bhagath #Singh, #Sukdev and #Raajaguru were hanged death.

They had a chance to flee. But, they didn't. They let themselves be arrested.

If #Mohandas wanted he could have saved this trio. Repeated requests from the public and from the party fell on deaf ears. British told him to go soft and he obeyed. Didn't even lift a finger. Some said he was full of jealous. Singh's fame was unsurpassed at that time.

If Mohandas didn't step into our freedom fighting, more Tilakars, Bhagath Singhs, Nethaajis, Vaanjinaathans would have appeared on the scene much sooner and the Stiff-upper-lips would have fled sooner.

British PM #Attlee publicly acknowledged that it was INA and the revolt in Indian Navy made them pack their bags. When the reporters asked him specifically about Mohandas, he smiled and said Quit India movement didn't even make a single scratch on them.

BTW, #Jawahar #Lal #Ghazi... A toilet paper in their hands.

🔥🔥🔥

Scenario hasn't changed. White hyenas looted us till 1947. After 1947 domestic hyenas have been looting. Biggest of them all is the recent #Demonetization drive and the subsequent enforcement of digital cash.

Recently, Nirmalaa Seethaaraaman signed WTO papers after licking USA's feet and pushed our agriculture sector into an abyss.

Demonetization is like setting your field on fire. Advise to switch to digital cash is like the scoundrels, who set the fire in the first place, offering you water & vessels for a hefty sum.

Recently spotted a slap-on-the-face definition of government on social media: *OFF THE PEOPLE. FAR (AWAY FROM) THE PEOPLE. BYE BYE PEOPLE!!*

How Gen. Cariappa became Bhaaratham's first Lt. General

Soon after getting freedom from British rule in 1947, the de-facto prime minister of India, Jawahar Lal Ghazi (aka Nehru 😉) called a meeting of senior Army Officers to select the first General of the Indian army.

Ghazi proposed, "I think we should appoint a British officer as a General of The Indian Army, as we don't have enough experience to lead the same." Having learned under the British, only to serve and rarely to lead, all the civilians and men in uniform present nodded their heads in agreement.

However one senior officer, Nathu Singh Rathore, asked for permission to speak. Ghazi was a bit taken aback by the independent streak of the officer, though, he asked him to speak freely.

Rathore said, "You see, sir, we don't have enough experience to lead a nation too, so shouldn't we appoint a British person as the first Prime Minister of India?"

You could hear a pin drop!! 👌👍

After a pregnant pause, Ghazi asked Rathore, "Are you ready to be the first General of The Indian Army?"..

Rathore declined the offer saying "Sir, we have a very talented army officer, my senior, Gen. Cariappa, who is the most deserving among us."

This is how the brilliant Gen. Cariappa became the first General and Rathore the first ever Lt. General of the Indian Army.

👊👏👌👍 😘
