Devotee: Seeking the ‘I’ there is nothing to be seen.

Maharishi: Because you are accustomed to identify yourself with the body and sight with the eyes, therefore, you say you do not see anything. What is there to be seen? Who is to see? How to see? There is only one consciousness which, manifesting as ‘I-thought’, identifies itself with the body, projects itself through the eyes and sees the objects around. The individual is limited in the waking state and expects to see something different. The evidence of his senses will be the seal of authority. But he will not admit that the seer, the seen and the sight are all manifestations of the same consciousness - namely, ‘I-I’. Contemplation helps one to overcome the illusion that the Self must be visual. In truth, there is nothing visual. How do you feel the ‘I’ now? Do you hold a mirror before you to know your own being? The awareness is the ‘I’. Realise it and that is the truth.

D.: On enquiry into the origin of thoughts there is a perception of ‘I’. But it does not satisfy me.

M.: Quite right. The perception of ‘I’ is associated with a form, maybe the body. There should be nothing associated with the pure Self. The Self is the unassociated, pure Reality, in whose light, the body, the ego, etc. shine. On stilling all thoughts the pure consciousness remains over.

Just on waking from sleep and before becoming aware of the world there is that pure ‘I-I’. Hold to it without sleeping or without allowing thoughts to possess you. If that is held firm it does not matter even though the world is seen. The seer remains unaffected by the phenomena.

Favourite Stories of Bhagavaan Shree Ramana Maharshi: King Janakar and Sage Sukar

[Once a questioner asked Bhagavaan, “Can the atyasramis (those beyond all states) own property?” Bhagavaan replied, “There is no restriction for them. They may do what they please. Sukar is said to have married and begotten children.” — #Talk #291, #Talks #with #Maharshi]

Sukar was the only son of #Vyaasar, author of the Brahma Sutras and the Puranaas and master of the Vedas. From his childhood, Sukar had understood through pure intellect and by freedom from distractions that the world is full of delusion. His mind was disturbed when he tried to probe into the source of delusion. He went to his father on Mt. Meru and voiced his doubts. Vyaasar, the very incarnation of Lord Vishnu, addressed Sukar’s misgivings but his son was not satisfied. Understanding his son’s mental state, Vyaasar told him, “Dear son! If you still harbour doubts, go to the king of Videhaa, King Janakar. May you benefit from all that is virtuous!”

Sukar reached the kingdom of Janakar with considerable effort and waited near the king’s private chambers. The servants announced his arrival to the king. Janakar wanted to test the determination of Sukar and thus, the servants did not give him admittance for seven long days. But Sukar maintained his equanimity. Seven days later, the king’s retinue allowed him to have an audience with the king with all the royal courtesies. Beautiful men and women attempted to entertain him with song and dance. Sukar was neither elated by this royal treatment nor was he flustered by the king’s earlier indifference. Janakar was very pleased with Sukar’s immaculate attitude. He offered him the sixteen kinds of hospitality, praised his ancestry and humbly addressed him thus, “It is my great good fortune that you, who are endowed with the knowledge of Brahman, came all the way here, seeking audience with me. Please command me as to what service I can render you”.

Sukar reiterated all that he had told his father and raised the question that was tormenting him, “What is the origin of delusion? How does one overcome it?” Janakar’s response was the same as had been his father’s. So, Sukar explained that he had heard this response before, and it had not resolved his doubts. Janakar then elaborated further, “You are fully detached from all things, are without doubt the very embodiment of Brahman. What your father stated, what I have understood and what you are contemplating, are all the same— the knowledge of the Self. Total detachment is essential for this. You are seeking the source of delusion. And, it has brought you all this way. This very desire is the manifestation of delusion. Attempting to know anything other than the Self is delusion. Such a desire also occurs by the very force of the Self — attempting to know and knowing it. However, in the attempt to quench one’s desire to know, the Self gets lost in the background and one is caught in a vicious whirlpool. Therefore, conquer this desire to know more about delusion and endeavour to attain the state of equanimity once again, for that is your true state.”

On hearing this explanation, Sukar became completely silent, was emancipated from all desire and filled with perfect contentment. He now understood the greatness of his father through the renowned Janakar.

Devotee: Has God a form?

Maharshi: Who says so?

D.: Well, if God has no form is it proper to worship idols?

M.: Leave God alone because He is unknown. What about you? Have you a form?

D.: Yes. I am this and so and so.

M.: So then, you are a man with limbs, about three and a half cubits high, with beard, etc. Is it so?

D.: Certainly.

M.: Then do you find yourself so in deep sleep?

D.: After waking I perceive that I was asleep. Therefore by inference I remained thus in deep sleep also.

M.: If you are the body why do they bury the corpse after death? The body must refuse to be buried.

D.: No, I am the subtle jiva within the gross body.

M.: So you see that you are really formless; but you are at present identifying yourself with the body. So long as you are formful why should you not worship the formless God as being formful?

The questioner was baffled and perplexed.

Likewise throughout "Talks..." you can find numerous occasions where people came to examine Bhagavaan or to prove their -ism was better than Advaitham (Bhagavaan never identified Himself with any religion or group. His teachings were completely based on His experience and not based on any scriptures). Sometimes Bhagavaan brought such people to the right path. Sometimes He would say what they wanted to hear and got rid of them. Sometimes He kept quiet. Sometimes He paid them back in their own coin. When He did pay them back, it was always in a spectacular way!! With just one simple question, He would bring down their entire defensive structures.

Talk 92: Part of #Bhagavaan #Shree #Ramana #Maharshi's reply to a question asked by a visitor

Unbroken ‘I-I’ is the ocean infinite, the ego, ‘I’ thought, remains only a bubble on it and is called jiva, i.e., individual soul. The bubble too is water; when it bursts it only mixes in the ocean. When it remains a bubble it is still a part of the ocean. Ignorant of this simple truth, innumerable methods under different denominations, such as yoga, bhakti, karma....... each again with many modifications, are being taught with great skill and in intricate detail only to entice the seekers and confuse their minds. So also are the religions and sects and dogmas. What are they all for? Only for knowing the Self. They are aids and practices required for knowing the Self.

Objects perceived by the senses are spoken of as immediate knowledge (pratyaksha). Can anything be as direct as the Self - always experienced without the aid of the senses? Sense perceptions can only be indirect knowledge, and not direct knowledge. Only one’s own awareness is direct knowledge, as is the common experience of one and all. *No aids are needed to know one’s own Self, i.e., to be aware.*

The one Infinite Unbroken Whole (plenum) becomes aware of itself as ‘I’. This is its original name. All other names, e.g., OM, are later growths. *Liberation is only to remain aware of the Self.* The mahavakya “I am Brahman” is its authority. Though the ‘I’ is always experienced, yet one’s attention has to be drawn to it. Only then does knowledge dawn. Thus the need for the instruction of the Upanishads and of wise sages.

Why Praanayaamam + Meditation are necessary from the Medical Science's point of view?

From the time of the  birth till death the heart works continuously.

*Everyday the heart pumps 7,000 litres of blood, of which 70% blood is pumped to the brain and the remaining 30%  to the rest of body.*

How does the heart work so much efficiently and effectively?

Heart works effectively because it follows a discipline. In normal conditions the heart takes 0.3 secs to contract (systole) and 0.5 secs to relax (diastole). So 0.3+0.5=0.8 secs are required by the heart to complete one beat (1 cardiac cycle).That means *in 1 min, the heart beats 72 times which is considered as normal heart beat.*

During the relaxing phase of 0.5 secs the impure blood travels through the lungs and becomes 100 % pure.

In some stressful conditions , the body demands more blood in less time and in this situation the heart reduces the relaxing period of 0.5 secs to 0.4 secs. Thus in this case the heart beats 82 times in 1min and only 80% of blood gets purified.

On more and more demand the relaxing time is further reduced to 0.3 secs & then only 60% of blood is purified.

*Imagine the consequences of the lesser Oxygenated blood circulating in our Arteries!*

Deep Breathing , my friends , is the key to ensure better Oxygenation of the blood.

*Factors responsible for the activity of the brain:*

1.  25-30% is due to the Diet we consume.

2. 70-75% is due to the emotions, attitude, memories and other processes of the brain.

*Thus, to calm the brain and reduce the demand on the heart to pump more and more blood , brain needs to be given rest. Meditation is the most useful tool to calm an agitated mind.*

When we sit in meditation (#), the brain gets calmer, heart gets rested,  thus insulating us from the Dis-eases of Heart & Brain.

*PRAANAYAAMAM + MEDITATION ARE THE KEYS TO THE REAL HEALING.*

15 minutes per day is all it takes to practise these. Is it too much ?

- Personal cleanliness
- Tidiness of dress
- Habitual wearing of vibhuti and kumkum on the forehead
- Equal sharing of all enjoyment with those around him
- Strict adherence to a time schedule
- Performing useful work however ‘low’ it may be
- Never leaving a work unfinished
- The pursuit of perfection in every action
- Incessant activity except while sleeping or resting after a spell of hard work
- Never considering oneself superior to others
- Speaking the truth always, or strict silence if the expression of truth would hurt or lower the reputation of others
- Perfect self-help
- Never asking another to do a piece of work which can be done by oneself
- Taking full responsibility for failure, if any, without shifting the blame on others
- Accepting success or failure with equanimity
- Never disturbing the peace of others
- Leaving the leaf-plate clean after eating
- Complete non-interference in the affairs of others
- Never worrying about the future

What is Meditation?

A young boy of 7 years old came to #Bhagavaan Shree #Ramana #Maharishi and asked him, "Can you explain to me what is meditation? Whenever I ask my parents they tell me I need not bother about it now and I will come to know when I grow up." Bhagavaan said, "I shall tell you,; but you sit quietly by my side." (How gifted that boy would have been? 😍)

A little later someone brought a carrier full of Dosais and placed it before Bhagavaan, who would not eat anything unless equal quantities are distributed to everyone present. Bhagavaan took a small piece Himself, gave one full Dosai to the boy by his side in a leaf and ordered the rest to be distributed to the devotees present.

He told the boy, "Look here, till I raise my finger and say 'Hoon' you will go on eating and you should not finish it before I give the signal. The moment I give the signal no portion of the Dosai should remain and you should stop eating." The boy was looking at Bhagavaan for the signal and was eating in big pieces first and later in small bits. Suddenly the expected signal came. The boy put the entire balance Dosai into his mouth and stopped eating. *Bhagavaan then said, "What you now did is the process of meditation.You were looking at Me all the time but were eating the Dosai. Similarly keep your mind one pointed on God; but continue with your normal duties."* 👏👌👍

*Let your normal activities like walking, eating, talking, etc., go on; but let your mind be concentrated on God all the time. That is #Meditation. Here God is not just some external force. He is right within us. And, He is Us!!*

💥 அடுத்து, சிறிய கருங்காலிகளை வைத்து யாரும் அறியாதவாறு, இவர்களுக்கு ஏற்றவாறு (அதாவது, "இந்து சமயத்தை, கலாச்சாரத்தை, வரலாற்றை அழிக்கவேண்டும்" என்ற குறிக்கோளுக்கு ஏற்றவாறு) ஆராய்ச்சிக் கட்டுரைகளை எழுதவைக்கவேண்டும்.

💥 அடுத்து, அந்தப் புத்தகங்களை "த சிண்டு" போன்ற தேசிய வேசி ஊடகங்களை வைத்து விமர்சிக்க ("புகழ") வேண்டும். 😜

💥 அடுத்து, அந்தப் பன்றி டோனிகரின் புத்தகத்தை தமிழாக்கம் செய்யவேண்டும். அதை "த தமிழ் சிண்டு" போன்ற மாநில வேசி ஊடகங்களை வைத்து விமர்சிக்க ("புகழ") வேண்டும். 😝

மேலோட்டமாகப் பார்த்தால், நமது சமயத்தை அளித்துவிட்டு அவர்களது மதத்தை பரப்புவதாகத் தோன்றும். ஆனால், அவர்களது உண்மையான திட்டம் நம்மை ஆட்டு மந்தைகளாக்குவது தான். அவர்கள் அசையச் சொன்னால் நாம் அசைய வேண்டும். எதை வாங்கச் சொல்கிறார்களோ அதை வாங்க வேண்டும். யாரை அவர்கள் ஆட்சியில் அமரவைக்க விரும்புகிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்கு நாம் ஓட்டுப் போடவேண்டும். "இன்று 1 கோடி மேகி குப்பை தயாரித்து விற்கப்பட வேண்டும்" என்று பரங்கியர்கள் ஆணையிட்டால்,
நாமே தயாரித்து,
நாமே விற்று,
நாமே வாங்கிச் சாப்பிட்டு,
நாமே அவனது ஆங்கில மருத்துவரிடம் சென்று,
நாமே அவனது ஆங்கில மருந்துகளை வாங்கி உண்டு, ஏற்படும் பக்க விளைவுகளை சரி செய்து கொண்டு ஓரளவு பணம் சேர்ந்தவுடன்,
நாமே அவர்களது நாடுகளுக்குச் சுற்றுலா சென்று, சம்பாதித்தை அவர்கள் நாட்டிலேயே தீர்த்துவிட்டு ...
மீண்டும் 1 கோடி மேகி குப்பை தயாரிக்க ஆணை வராதா என ஏங்கி ...

புரிந்திருக்கும் என நினைக்கிறேன். 😉

நமக்கு நமதைப் பற்றிய சரியான அறிவு இல்லாததாலேயே பரங்கிகளால் இவ்வளவு தூரம் ரோடு போட முடிந்திருக்கிறது. ஆகையால், காளிதேவியைப் பற்றி சிறிது தெரிந்து கொள்வோம்.

காளி - காளம் - கருமை - கருப்பு ("காத்து கருப்பு"-ல் உள்ள கருப்பு).

(இவரை சிவனின் அம்சம் என்பார்கள். அந்த சிவன் மேலேயே நிற்பது போன்று வரைந்தும் இருப்பார்கள். வேறொரு இடத்தில் சக்தியின் அம்சம் என்பார்கள். பெருமாளின் சகோதரி என்பார்கள். ஏன் இப்படிக் குழப்புகிறார்கள் என்று பின்னர் பார்ப்போம்.)

அண்டத்தில் உள்ள கருப்பான "வெளி"யே இவர். பரங்கி அறிவியல் இவரை Dark Matter / Energy என அழைக்கும். அவர்களுக்கு இவரைப் பற்றி இன்னும் புரியவில்லை. நம்மவர்கள் இவரை ஆராய்ந்து, புரிந்து, உணர்ந்து உருவமில்லா இவரும், உருவமுள்ள ஏனையப் பொருள்களும் ஒன்றே (சிவனும் சக்தியும் ஒன்றே) என்று படைப்பின் உச்சந்தொட்டார்கள். 👍

உருவமில்லா கருந்துகள் (Dark Matter) சிவம் (மொத்த அண்டமும் சிவம்தான் - ஒரே இறைவன் தான்; நிலைகளை விளக்கும் போது, முதல் நிலை சிவம் என்றும், முதல் பொருள் கருந்துகள் என்றும் பெயரிட்டுள்ளனர் நம் பெரியோர்). இந்தத் துகள் உருவநிலையை அடைய (சக்தியாக) தேவையான விசை காளி எனலாம். அல்லது, உருவமில்லா (அருவ) நிலையிலிருந்து உருவநிலையை அடையும் முன்னர் உள்ள ஒரு மிகச்சிறிய நிலை காளி எனலாம்.

அருவ நிலையிலிருந்து (சிவ நிலையிலிருந்து) கணக்கிடும் போது இவர் சிவனின் அம்சமாகிறார். உருவ நிலைக்கு (சக்தி நிலைக்கு) முன்னர் என்று கணக்கிடும் போது இவர் சக்தியின் அம்சமாகிறார்.

அண்டத்திலுள்ள அத்தனை விஷயங்களும் அருவத்திலிருந்து காளி நிலை வழியாக உருவ நிலைக்கு வந்திருப்பதால் அனைத்திற்கும் இவர் அன்னையாகிறார். "யாதுமாகி நின்றாய் காளி" என்றார் முண்டாசு கவிஞர். இப்படி அனைத்தையும் இவரே செய்வதால், சிவன் படுத்துக் கிடப்பதைப் போலும், காளி அவர் மேல் நின்று கொண்டிருப்பது போலும் வரைந்த ஓவியங்களைக் காணலாம்.

"அண்டத்தில் உள்ளது பிண்டத்தில் உள்ளது". நம் பிண்டத்தில் எங்கு காளி வருகிறார் என்று பார்ப்போம்.

"நான் இன்னார்" என்பதே அனைவரின் பொதுவான அனுபவம். இன்னார் என்பது நம் உடல், அது பிறந்த குலம் & கோத்திரம், அதன் படிப்பு, அது பெற்றிருக்கும் பதவி மற்றும் பல. ஆனால், உண்மை இதுவல்ல! நாம் இவ்வுடலல்ல!! இவ்வுடல் நமது உடமை மட்டுமே. நமது உடமை நாமாக முடியாது. இந்த "இன்னார்" கழண்டு "நான்" மட்டும் தனியாக நிற்பதே ஞானம் (அறிவு) எனப்படும். இந்த ஞானம் அனுபவமாகும் முன்னர் பயம் தோன்றும். இது எமபயம் எனப்படும். திருக்கடவூரில் சமாதியாகியிருக்கும் மார்க்கண்டேய மகரிஷியின் வரலாறு இந்த எமபயத்தை முக்கியப்படுத்திக் காட்டும்.

இந்த பயத்தை தாண்டியவுடன், இலக்கை நோக்கி ஒரு வித வெறி & கோபத்துடன் நம் சாதனை தொடரும். இறுதியாக, இறை நிலைக்கு (சிவநிலைக்கு) அருகில் (சாமீபம்) சென்றவுடன் பிரமித்து நமது சாதனை நின்று போகும். அக்கணம் உள்ளிருந்து ஒரு சக்தி தோன்றி நம்மை (நமது தனித்துவத்தை) கபளீகரம் செய்துவிடும் (ஆட்கொண்டுவிடும்). "நான்" "தானாகி" விடும்!!

மேற்சொன்ன சாதனையில், தோன்றும் வெறி "பைரவர்" எனப்படும். கோபம் "காளி" எனப்படும். அருகில் சென்றவுடன் தோன்றும் பிரமிப்பு "சமிசீனா" எனப்படும். சாதனை நின்று போதல் "சரணாகதி" எனப்படும். ஆட்கொள்ளுதலே "ஞானமடைதல் / சாயுஜ்யமடைதல் / பரலோகமடைதல் / இறைவனின் திருவடியடைதல் / கைலாச பதவியடைதல் / வைகுண்டம் செல்லுதல் / நிர்வாணம் (பெளத்தம்) / சொர்க்கம் செல்லுதல் (Heaven - கிறித்துவம்)" என பலவாறு அழைக்கப்படுகி்றது.

பிரமிப்பு எனப்படும் சமிசீனா நிலையில் இருப்பவர், "அம்மையே" என்று ஸ்ரீகைலாசபதி (கைலாசத்தில் சமாதியாகியிருக்கும் மகான்) அழைக்கும் பேறுபெற்ற காரைக்கால் அம்மையார். திருவாலங்காட்டில் இவர் சமிசீனாம்பிகை என்றழைக்கப்படுகிறார். இதற்கு பொருள் "அருகிலிருந்து வியந்தவள்". "இறைவனுக்கு / இறைநிலைக்கு அருகிலிருந்து வியந்தவள்" என விரிக்கலாம்! 🙏

சாதாரண கோபத்தினால் பாதிப்புகள் தான் ஏற்படும். ஆனால், காளி எனும் கோபத்தினால் சிவநிலையே கிட்டும்.

சிவனை சுடுகாட்டில் வசிப்பவர் என்பர். அதாவது, சிவனுக்கு (ஞானிக்கு) இவ்வுலகம் எரிக்கப்பட்டு உருக்கலையாத சாம்பல் போல் தோன்றும். சிவனின் அம்சம் காளி என்பதால் காளிக்கு சுடுகாட்டின் மற்ற அடையாளங்களான மண்டை ஓடு, எலும்புத் துண்டுகள் என அணிவித்துவிட்டனர்.

காளி வழிபாடு தான் வைணவத்திற்கு அடிப்படை! இதனால் தான் காளி பெருமாளுக்கு (பெருமைக்குரிய / பெரிய ஆள் = விஷ்ணு = விண்டு = விண்) சகோதரியாகிறார்! ☺ சமண பெளத்த மதங்கள் தங்கள் மதிப்பை இழந்ததும், சைவத்திற்குள் நுழைய முடியாது என்ற காரணத்தினால், பெளத்தத்திலிருந்து ஒரு கூட்டம் இதற்கு மாறியது. பெண்ணை ஆணாக மாற்றியது. ஆணைப் பெண்ணாக மாற்றியது. பெண்ணை ஆணின் பாதத்தில் வைத்தது. சிவலிங்கம் என்ற வார்த்தைக்கு "சிவநிலையில் இருப்பவரின் அடையாளம்" என்ற பொருளை ஒதுக்கி "வேறு" பொருள் கற்பித்தது. அது தோண்டிய குழியில் அதுவே விழுந்தது. அவர்கள் கற்பித்த "வேறு" பொருளுக்கு சமமான "ஒரு" அடையாளத்தை போட்டுக்கொண்டது. 😬 எதற்காக இவ்வளவு திள்ளுமுள்ளுகள்?

இக்கேள்விக்கான பதிலும், மேலே நான் எழுப்பிய "ஏன் இப்படி குழப்புகிறார்கள்?" என்ற கேள்விக்கான பதிலும் ஒன்றே: மனிதனின் சுயநலம், பேராசை, சோம்பல், குறுகிய சிந்தனை மற்றும் தான் & தனது விஷயங்கள்.

மன்னனின் வரி வருமானத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும், மக்களின் வருமானத்தில் ஒரு பங்கும் சமூகத்தின் வழிகாட்டிகளுக்கும், அறிவு வங்கிகளுக்கும் செல்லும். (ஐயர்கள், பிராமணர்கள், பரதேசிகள், பண்டாரங்கள், போதகர்கள் என்போரைத் தான் இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிடுகிறேன்). எல்லா மத அமைப்புகளும் எப்போதுமே முக்கோண வடிவம் தான்! இருப்பது ஒரு பெரிய முக்கோணம் என்று வைத்துக் கொண்டால், மன்னனும் மக்களும் கொடுக்கும் பணம், அந்தப் பெரிய முக்கோணத்தின் மேலிருந்து கடை நிலைக்கு வருவதற்குள் கழுதை தேய்ந்து கட்டெறும்பு ஆன கதையாகி விடும். ஆகையால், ஆட்டம் தெரிந்தவர்கள் ஒரு புது முக்கோணத்தை ஆரம்பித்து, தனியாக கல்லா கட்டுவார்கள். இன்று அரசியல் கட்சிகளில், ஜாதி அமைப்புகளில், தொழிலாளர் நலச்சங்கங்களில் இது நடப்பதைக் காணலாம்.

"தான் உழைக்கக் கூடாது. அதே சமயத்தில் சமூகத்தில் முன்னிலையில் இருக்க வேண்டும். மற்றவர் தன் சொல்படி நடக்க வேண்டும். தான் என்ன செய்தாலும் அதை எல்லோரும் பெருமதிப்புடன் பார்க்கவேண்டும்." என்பன போன்ற சுயநலக் கொள்கைகள் தாம் முக்கோணங்கள் உருவாகக் காரணங்கள். அன்று ஜின்னா இந்தியாவை பிரித்ததற்கும் இதுவே காரணம். இன்று ஐ.எஸ்.ஐ.எஸ் தீவிரவாத அமைப்பு உருவானதற்கும் இதுவே காரணம். 😡

இந்த "சமூக ஒட்டுண்ணிகளான" முக்கோண அமைப்புகள் சமண & பெளத்தர்களிடமிருந்து தான் தோன்றியிருக்க வேண்டும் என்பது என் கருத்து. இவர்களின் வருகைக்கு முன் அப்படி ஒரு தேவை இருந்ததாகத் தெரியவில்லை. திருவள்ளுவரின் மனைவியாகிய வாசுகி அம்மையாருக்கும் கொங்கணவ சித்தருக்கும் நடந்த உரையாடலே இதற்கு சான்று ("கொக்கென்று எனை நினைத்தாயோ, கொங்கணவா?").

ஒரு சாதாரண இல்லத்தரசியும், இறைச்சித் தொழில்புரிபவருமே அன்று உயர்ந்த "சகஜ ஞான" நிலையில் இருந்திருக்கின்றனர். அதற்கென்று அவர்கள் தனியாக பயிற்சிப் பெற்றதாகத் தெரியவில்லை. தேவையுமில்லை. "ஆன்மவித்தை அதி சுலபம்" என்பார் பகவான் ஸ்ரீரமணர். தன் பாதத்தில் 108 முறை விழுந்து கும்பிட முயன்ற பெண்ணிடம், "எதற்கு இந்த சர்க்கஸ் வேலை? உண்மையான குருவின் (இறைவனின்) பாதம் உன்னுள்ளது. அதைப்பிடித்துக் கொள்." என்றார். "எல்லாவற்றையும் விட்டுவிட்டு இங்கே வர விரும்புகிறேன்" எனக் கேட்ட எத்தனையோ பேரை பகவான் தடுத்துள்ளார். மேற்கொண்டு, "நீங்கள் மட்டும் வந்துள்ளீரே" எனக் கேட்டவர்களுக்கு, "உங்கள் தலைவிதி அதுவாயின் என்னிடம் கேட்க மாட்டீர்கள்" என பதிலுரைப்பார்.

ஒவ்வொரு கணமும் நேரடி அனுபவமாகும் (பிரத்யட்சமாகும்) ஒரு விஷயத்தை, ஏன் எங்கோ இருப்பதாகக் காட்டவேண்டும்? பின்னர், உபதேசம், ஞானஸ்நானம் என்று ஊரை ஏமாற்றவேண்டும்? சிவன், சக்தி, காளி என்பதெல்லாம் பெரும் உண்மைகளின் உருவ வடிவமே என்று பாமரனும் உணரும்படி செய்திருந்தால் பரங்கியரால் இவ்வளவு தூரம் ரோடு போட்டிருக்க முடியுமா? பன்றி டோனிகரின் புத்தகங்கள் தான் விற்றிருக்குமா? இன்று காளி தத்துவம் எள்ளி நகையாடப் பட்டிருக்குமா? 😡😡😡

Word group "I Am That I Am" is also inadequate to describe God

Likewise, He praised about Islam to a group of Muslims. So, can we all utter the "sacred" word 3 times, divorce our wives and go for 10 years old girl children? 😂

He also recommended doing Jabam to a Brahmin woman. So, can we all do Jabam, lose energy and go bonkers? 😂

Don't get fooled by these cheats!!

If Bhagavaan's words mean a lot to them, let them follow His words first. Bhagavaan didn't recommend or approve religious conversions. Will they stop their conversion business?

Several years ago they used Swaami Vivekaanandha's words to sell their -ism. Once Sri Raamakrishna Mission fired a salvo, these cheats went silent. Now, they are using Bhagavaan's words. I don't expect any salvo this time as there is still too much Parangi infestation at Sri Ramanaashramam.

"I am that I am" is one of the phrases to describe The God/Brahmam/பரம்பொருள். It also falls short like all the words & phrases including Bhagavaan's own "நான்" & "தான்". God is beyond thoughts & words. Naming or explaining something that is beyond words will always result in error. Pl remember the following beautiful lines from Thamizh:

கண்டவர் விண்டிலர்
விண்டவர் கண்டிலர்

Those who realized won't talk
Those who talk are not realized

Bhagavaan was a கண்டவர். He used several words, phrases, etc. to guide us to The Almighty/Arunaachalaa/உள்ள பொருள். That's the best a real Guru can do.

There are other statements,
such as
Brahmaivaham,
Aham Brahmasmi
and Soham.

But none is so direct as the name
JEHOVAH = I AM.

The Absolute Being is what is -
It is the Self.
It is God.

Knowing the Self,
God is known.

In fact God is none other
than the Self.
