Once Akbar's army was engaged in a prolonged war. As a result his royal wealth ("shahi khazana") was nearly exhausted. He asked #Birbal, "How to replenish my wealth?" Birbal answered, "You can get it from Dhanna Seth (a merchant)".
#Akbar was amazed as to how a trader/ merchant could have so much money. Still he went to #Dhanna #Seth.
Dhanna: Badshah, I have huge wealth, take as much as you want.
Akbar: Dhanna Seth, How did you accumulate so much wealth? Tell me without any fear of punishment (just like modern governments - promise something; but, something else! 😉)
Dhanna: I earned it by adulterating grains & spices.
Akbar got angry, he took all of Dhanna's wealth (so much for telling the truth!! 😂) and ordered him that from then on he would do the job of collecting horse dung from his royal stable. Dhanna agreed.
Years passed by. Again Akbar had to fight a long drawn battle. Again his royal wealth exhausted & again Birbal advised Akbar to go to Dhanna Seth for help.
Akbar: Birbal, I ordered him to work in royal stable to collect horse dung, How on earth can he have such wealth?
Birbal: I don't know Badshah. But, only he can help you. You can ask him.
Akbar went to Dhanna. Dhanna gave Akbar huge wealth.
Akbar: Dhanna Seth, last time, I took all of your wealth. How did you accumulate it again?
Dhanna: From the stable-incharge & horse attendants. They underfeed the horses. I threatened them that I would complain to you that they did not feed horses enough and hence the horses were shitting out less quantity of dung. So, they bribed me to keep me silent.
Akbar got very angry again & ordered Dhanna to start counting the waves at sea and returned to his palace with Dhanna's wealth.
As luck would have it, Akbar fought another war, royal wealth emptied out and once again Birbal advised Akbar to go to Dhanna Seth for help.
Akbar could not believe as to how Dhanna could earn so much by counting waves at sea. Akbar asked Dhanna.
Dhanna: Badshah, Take as much as you want but this time around I will not change my profession.
Akbar: Ok. But, tell me how did you earn money by counting Water waves at sea?
Dhanna: Very simple, I stopped merchant vessels far away from seashore. I showed them your order that I was counting waves and told them their vessels were disturbing the waves and, hence, their vessels should stay away. Badshah, these merchants then started bribibg me to let them reach the shore & unload their merchandise.
Akbar understood that Dhanna Seth could earn by engaging in manipulations & bribery from any profession.
*#Demonetization or no demonetization, the Dhanna Seths of our society will always find a way to earn & accumulate black money.* 👏👌👍 😛😜😝😂
🌸🏵🌹🌻🌺🌷🌼
Please don't equate Dhanna Seths with Corporates, Businesses and Middle-men alone. He represents Governments too! Both state & center. That's right. Governments - biggest & baddest thriving parasitic organisms out there!!
Why should anyone replenish govt's coffers? Did the public request Akbar to wage wars? I don't think so. It must have been Akbar's whims, wishes, fancies, stupidities, arrogance, etc., In the present day, the word Wars gets replaced with 7th Pay Commission, Freebies, Rural Employment Scheme, Subsidies, Reservation System, Vote Politics, etc.,
*Why people hide their money? Why they live like beggars?*
Go to Thiruvannaamalai. Everyday so many people offer food to beggars. Those beggars know it too - that someone will show up with food today. Still, they stove away food, knowing very well that that food may become stale. Why? Out of fear! What if nobody turns up tomorrow? Because 20 years ago, nobody turned up. What if those times start again from tomorrow?
Today, it's Demonetization. Yesterday, it was Globalization. Before that, Currency Devaluation. Reservation System. Birth of Republic. Communism. Whites. Muslims. Vaidheekam. Buddhism & Jainism (yeah, these tonsured lots tonsured so much from people), Romans, Chinese (I heard that until this attack, women took part in everything including wars), Aryans.
*You never know what will hit you tomorrow. But, you do know something will hit you. It's in your blood. In your DNA. Hence the fear. Hence the beggar like thinking.*
*What do you feel when a police person or a govt official approaches you?* You become alert. You are worried. You wish he leaves you and gets gold of someone else. Why? *You have seen things. You have heard things. You know what they can do. Hence the reflex to get rid of them.*
*Only lawful, lean, service-minded, friendly and stable successive governments for at least a generation can eradicate the beggar like thinking and the reflex to avoid govt officials.*
Without fixing such basic issues, however much cleaning is carried out, weeds will always crop up.
